A comic-ink stickman shooter: team deathmatch, free for all and gun game
by StickFrag
StickFrag is a first-person shooter played in the browser, with nothing to install, where stick figures fight on maps drawn like a comic book: thick ink outlines, flat bright colours and halftone shading. Every hit splashes black ink across walls and floors.
You pick a nickname and join a running match in a few seconds: team deathmatch to 100 kills, free for all or gun game, on five maps (a container Yard, a Town main street with shops you can climb into, a Farm, a huge rail Depot and a sea Port). Before each life you choose a loadout (primary weapon, sidearm and grenade: frag, flash or smoke), and a heavy weapon such as the machine gun unlocks after a kill streak. Bots fill the teams until enough players are in, and at the end of a match everyone votes for the next map.
Kills, headshots and finished matches give XP towards levels that unlock headband and body colours, and card packs hold hats. Private rooms with a code let friends play together, and a weekly leaderboard ranks the top players. Held sideways, a phone gets touch controls: a stick to move, and buttons to fire, aim, jump, crouch and reload. There are no ads in the game.
